Sometimes it’s impossible to get mains power to your pond. Most solar pumps are pretty weak and won’t be suitable to run a full pond filter system. However, there are now complete solar kits that are pretty easy to set up and can power many appliances including pond pumps.
Below is a video showing how I built a solar powered pond using a solar kit. I had no previous experience with setting up solar.
