I think I was first contacted by Gary back in 2022. I had a bit of spare time and Gary and I emailed back and forth about his pond.
I still get asked quite often if I can help people out with their ponds and unfortunately it becomes too time consuming, that’s why I created the formulas guide so you can use the exact same process as me.
In the future if I could create enough income via this website and my YouTube channel, or when I retire I’d like to do it again. It’s quite wonderful helping people get water in their yards.
Anyway here is the email Gary sent me recently, along with some pictures and a link to a thread where he was sharing his progress and expanding his knowledge.

You gave me some advice and things to think about a few months back.
In the end I used two bottom drains and intake bay to feed a cheap secondhand drum filter to remove all the big debris from the pond and then two pumps the main one into a bog filter and a second for some flow jets.
All seems to be working well. Here is a thread of the build and more pictures.
Anyway just a quick message just say thanks for you help and advice, your YouTube channel was/is great, it gave me inspiration and is fantastic knowledge-base, with simple and straightforward advice.
